Find the number

Turn the card over. You need the card number and, for most brands, the PIN or security code under the scratch-off panel.

Check online, by phone or in store

Every guide lists only the methods that work for that brand: the brand’s website, the toll-free number on the back, a register, or the brand’s own app.
