Cookie Policy

The The Wallet Station website sets no tracking cookies. This page lists the two items of browser storage it does use, what they are for, and how to change your choice.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember something between page views: a login, a language, an analytics identifier. “Similar technologies” include browser storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage, which work like cookies but are read only by scripts on the page, and pixels or SDKs that report to a third party. This policy covers all of them, on the The Wallet Station website and in the app.

2. Categories and what this site actually uses

We sort storage into three categories. The table lists every item the website sets today — there are two, both in your browser’s localStorage, and neither is ever transmitted to us.

Essential. Items a site cannot work without: security, load balancing, keeping you signed in. The The Wallet Station website sets none. Our hosting provider may set a short-lived technical cookie for load balancing or bot protection; it is not used for tracking.

Preferences. The two items in the table. They exist only so the site does not ask you the same question twice, and they live only in your browser.

Analytics. Not active. No analytics or advertising script loads on the website today, whatever you choose in the banner. If we enable analytics in the future it will load only after you choose “Accept all”, and this table will be updated with the exact cookies it sets before it goes live.

3. How to manage or withdraw consent

  • Cookie banner. On your first visit the banner offers “Accept all” or “Essential only”. Your choice is saved under tws_cookie_choice and the banner stays hidden afterwards.
  • Changing your mind. To see the banner again and choose differently, clear this site’s data in your browser (usually Settings → Privacy → Site data, or the padlock icon in the address bar). That also removes tws_waitlist, so the waitlist form will ask again.
  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site storage, for all sites or one at a time. Blocking storage does not stop this site from working; it only means the banner and the waitlist form cannot remember your choices between visits.
  • In the app. The app keeps your cards and settings in on-device storage and sets no advertising cookies. If analytics are ever added to the app they will be an opt-in setting.

4. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever the storage the site uses changes — in particular before any analytics or third-party script is added. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Our Privacy Policy explains how any information we do collect is handled.
