    Check on starbucks.com

    1. 1Go to starbucks.com and open the gift card section.
    2. 2Enter the card number and security code to check the balance, or sign in to see all registered cards.
    3. 3Registered cards can be reloaded and protected against loss from the same place.

    Ask at the register

    1. 1Hand the card to a cashier at any Starbucks store and ask for a balance check.
    2. 2They scan or key in the card and the balance shows on the terminal.
    3. 3Nothing is charged — a balance inquiry is not a purchase.
  4. Method 4 · By phone

    Call the number on the card

    1. 1Call the toll-free number printed on the back of the card.
    2. 2Follow the prompts for a balance inquiry and enter the card number and security code on the keypad.
    3. 3The balance is read back to you. Note it in The Wallet Station app so you do not have to call again.

Good to know

  • A card registered in the app is protected: if you lose it, the remaining balance can be moved to a new card.
  • The app's Pay feature scans the card barcode, so you can leave the plastic at home.
  • Balances can be transferred between your own registered Starbucks Cards in the app.
