  1. Method 1 · In the app

    Redeem in the App Store

    1. 1Open the App Store and tap your photo or initials at the top.
    2. 2Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code, then use the camera or type the code.
    3. 3Your Apple Account balance updates and is shown under your name on the same screen.
  2. Method 2 · In the app

    See the balance in Settings

    1. 1On iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name.
    2. 2Tap Media & Purchases, then View Account.
    3. 3The balance shows on the account screen and applies to apps, subscriptions, iCloud and purchases from Apple.

Good to know

  • Apple Gift Cards can be used for products at apple.com and the Apple Store as well as apps, games, music and iCloud+.
  • A code that has already been redeemed cannot be moved to another Apple Account.
  • Apple never asks for gift card codes to fix an account problem — a request like that is a scam.
